" Very cool book! Combination of Choose Your Own Adventure/ Facts and activity book! " said.

" This is a mix of Wreck this Journal and Choose Your Adventure. It was okay but I felt like there was too much going on and the stories weren’t overly interesting. " said.

" A fun, interactive book that I predict reluctant readers will really enjoy. Since you are supposed to draw and cut the book as you go, this is probably best as a purchase but I will get a copy for my library so that kids can see what this series is all about. " said.

" I LOVED the physical challenges (tearing, poking) and puzzles, and the fact that the book clearly encouraged you to try all of the paths possible. However, there were far too many “draw yourself doing...” that were repetitive (and often on back to back pages) and lacked in creativity. Most problematic for me was the writing though. The information and individual details were great, but the sentences were so dull and uninspired. " said.

"Yikes! Readers are encouraged to draw, poke holes in pages, and fold up corners in this interactive book, making it a librarian's worst nightmare. But it's still the type of book that someone will want to have at home in a personal collection. And even if a readers can resist marring the pages--I know that I did, and simply jotted my notes or doodles on my own paper--the book still offers insight into the sinking of the Titanic. Readers must choose from three different roles--a passenger, a crew member, or a stowaway--aboard the doomed ship, and as they answer various questions or make decisions, they move from one page to another to determine their fate. Not every path leads to survival, after all. Not only is this book informative and engaging, but it covers some previously ignored details about the ship, including the presence of 12 dogs and the stark difference between the first-class and third-class passengers. Taken as a whole, this impressive ship resembles a small city more than anything. There's not a doubt in my mind that readers will want to learn more about the wreck of the Titanic after reading this book, perfect for fifth or sixth graders. " said.

" Cute informative read... as a librarian it would not work as it requires interactive ness which would destroy the book however I am thinking of getting it for my kids:) " said.

" What a cool concept. I’ve read that a lot of people are upset that you can’t reuse this book, so it really doesn’t belong in the library. While that’s true, it makes just about the coolest interactive book around. Mix in some historical facts with creativity and art… what could be better? People pay 10 bucks to go sit in a movie theater one time, and this provides hours of entertainment and is fabulous for the imagination. I vote YES! " said.
