""Listen and look. Sing and Pray. What's the lesson of the day?" invites children to listen to the Lectionary and participate in the Eucharist. LET US PRAY, with step by step illustrations of the liturgy, incorporates the Episcopal Eucharistic service matched with child friendly verse explaining each aspect of the service. An excellent resource for families with small children, godparents, and Welcoming Committees to offer to children to use during the services. Pictures incorporate sheep as members of the congregation and in the service, reinforcing the story of the Good Shepherd." said.

"As a mom who whispered in her child's ear from infancy about the Eucharist and what everything means, I wished for this book! I love the illustrations and simple message that helps a child walk through the service in a developmentally appropriate way." said.

"When the 5 year old beside me pulled down the kneeler and began reading the confession from his copy of "Let Us Pray", I could tangibly feel what it means to "help this child grow into the full stature of Christ" as parents and godparents are asked to do at their child's baptism. This gem of a little book gives a non-biased, accessible entry into the eucharist for little kid's and I believe it will be a primary tool to keeping our children in worship with the gathered community, instead of whisking them (and their "noise") away. It is a brand new tool for a very ancient tradition, and I believe it can - if we allow it - change the way our kids worship with us. Thank you, Jennie." said.

"It's beautiful! Sweet sheep for little people to enjoy, with expressions that big people will recognize. Similarly, the liturgy is explained for a child's understanding, but it is not changed--adults will find the power and the grace of the Eucharist service undiminished." said.

"completely faithful to the Book of Common Prayer, Sweetly (not sugary) illustrated and very manageable for a wide variety of ages. Doesn't dumb down the material. I would have liked included the common breaks for hymn singing or other music, but in the procession it does include a choir. Very nice resource for children in the pew, or home instruction. Affordable and appealing." said.

"Jennie has taken the Episcopal liturgy and made it poetic and understandable for children, and perhaps for some adults. For those of us who didn't grow up in this tradition, the Book of Common Prayer can be a bit dense and confusing. Jennie has carved out the essential parts of the BCP for Sunday morning so that your child need not head off to the nursery but can share sacred time with you. The book is beautifully produced and Jennie's creative art is expressive and thoughtful. It is my "go to" gift for newborns and baptisms." said.

"Excellent book for children who can read. The sheep in the book are wonderful, especially for children taught in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. In Catechesis we learn that we are the sheep and Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd, which makes the book very understandable for young people." said.

"This wasn't what I was expecting. It's a reprinting of Holy Eucharist Rite Two in picture book format. The "age appropriate language to follow the liturgy" consists of very words, sprinkled throughout, and doesn't really offer enough in the way of explanation. For example, The text to go along with Holy Communion is one line "As we walk up to receive; think about what we believe." It's a picture book, and in that it's child-friendly and might offer a spring board for the parent to offer more explanation, but it's not a teaching tool in my opinion." said.
