" Straightforward simple text, broad range of babies/families represented. Pictures feel dated though that doesn't stop 11mo old from being drawn to look at them. " said.

" My son loved looking at the babies kissing and hugging their parents. " said.

" I loved reading and doing the actions of this board book with my infant and he responded to each and every hug and kiss. The photographs of the children are beautiful and paired well with each action. " said.

" Another great book in this series. My 17 month old daughter enjoys the photographs of babies and she loves when we act out the words (kiss the tummy, kiss the feet, kiss on the cheek, etc.). We borrowed it from the library, but she loves it so much we might have to buy our own copy. " said.

"Ordered this because my son's at an age where he likes looking at pictures of other babies. I was a little disappointed with the photos. Some seem overly staged, and they could all stand to be brighter. I was surprised to see this was published in 2002 -- the photos look more 80s. Still, they're large photos and depict babies and moms of a variety of colors (there are even a couple of dads). The text is simple but sweet. My son seems to really enjoy it and even gives me hugs during the hugging parts. A good book for cuddling with baby." said.

"I thought we had seen all the books in this series, so finding this one was a pleasant surprise. It was great to point out the babies to Natalie, but also the hugging and kissing. It was a great excuse to hug and kiss her and got me at least one rare toddler kiss. Natalie liked the picture of the daddy with his baby near the end. That was a nice aspect of the book, a variety in not just the babies, but the adults with them. Though, I thought one picture of a mom kissing her baby's cheek shouldn't have made the cut." said.

"I was introduced to these books by my son's pediatrician. Both my son and my daughter have loved these books. Books with real faces are great for infant development. These books are a must have." said.

"I wrote a similar review for the _Sleep_ book as I will write here. This is a great book with lots of cute pictures, and if your baby likes to be read to, this is a really sweet little book. I ordered it for my daughter who is about to turn six months old because I was looking for books with pictures of babies for her to look at. She is still a little bit too young to be into books (other than the ones she sticks in her mouth) and doesn't have the attention span to be read a whole book yet (she is into opening and closing books and turning pages right now, but can only tolerate reading about two pages before she gets squirmy.). For that reason, I think younger babies will probably like the pictures, but it's a better choice for babies who will sit still and listen to you read." said.
