"My daughter is 8, crazy about horses, and she has learned loads from this book about horse care. This book is appropriate for people 8 years old to adult. It's organized for easy reference concerning many topics such as feed, safety, shelter, grooming, etc. When she visits the stables she can now have an educated conversation about all aspects of horse and pony care; she can even make suggestions to provide better care. My daughter reads this over and over. There are slight language differences between the American and British versions of the book. The differences are not that significant, but if I'd known I would have purchased the American version. Different words are used for some feeds, some parts of the horse and some shelter names for example. I recommend this book unequivocally." S. Smith said.
"It is a great book for girls wanting to learn more about horses. My daughter has been taking it everywhere she goes, she is in 2nd grade and the fact that she wants to read a non fiction book is great!" Kim m. Pawlowitz said.
