"What did I think? Hmm, let me see. My name is Gail Westover. "If Horses Had Feathers and Pigs Could Fly" was written by me, Gail Westover. So, let me just say that I give this book a hundred stars! No, wait, I can't do that. The powers that be will throw me out of here.

Honestly? It's adorably illustrated by Me'ven Zabat. It's a silly, fun, rhyming book that is guaranteed to make your kids smile. While writing this book, I didn't merely think about creating something entertaining. I thought about ways to get their imaginations soaring. Children will envision themselves on the back of a winged horse, flying across their back yard or maybe to a far away land across the ocean. They will laugh at the silly upside down duck that flaps and quacks across the sky. The story will give them lasting pleasant thoughts before sleep or during quiet time.

Well into my second childhood now, I really enjoyed writing this book as much as reading it to groups of children. I love watching them try to squint their eyes and wave to the animals. It does a grandma's heart good.
