" This has been one of my daughters favorite all time books...I read it so much when she was younger that I still can recite it by heart. She just had me read it twice again as we just found it and she's five now! Obviously she holds it close to her heart. So I have to log it for memory sake. " said.

" I absolutely loved reading this book to my little boy when he was potty training. The pictures are big bold and colorful. Every page has another surprise fold out page that is fun for little ones to open up. The story puts potty anxiety at ease. He says,"mommy says it's okay if I got wet today". The ending is magnificent because the boy is potty trained, and it shows a big picture of his face. At last, he says, "I am so proud of me!" " said.

" Guess what developmental stage it is! Elo loves this author. We'll see how it goes! " said.

" Really cute potty training book. My daughter loves her other books and really liked this one. I'm hoping it will help with potty training. " said.

" Better of the potty books I have gotten my niece. My niece thinks Karen Katz books are the bomb. She loves looking at them the most out of her book stash. The colors and baby and mama images, everything is done so very kid friendly. The pages are nice, she won't be tearing them as she flips them out as in most books. This book has the stages just like a real baby/toddler would go through and so far this is the best potty book for my baby girl. " said.

"Of all of Katz's books I've read, I think this is one of her better ones. It all rhymes where some of her other books have parts that rhyme and parts that don't, which I personally didn't like. The lifting of the flap created excitement for the kids, anticipating what happens next. Typically I wouldn't like a genderless character, but it works in this book. Each of my children identified themselves as the child in the book--boy and girl. I think this is a good one to add to your arsenal of potty books." said.

"We just started potty training our daughter and so my mom picked this book up because she enjoys Karen Katz books. It's a cute book about all the things about going potty. It shows a baby who is not quite ready to go potty in the potty. But by the end of the book, she's a big girl and decides it's time!

It's cute and colorful. It has key words for toddlers who are learning words and meanings and the entire process of going potty. It's a pretty good intro book for potty training, especially if you kid hasn't quite warmed up to the idea yet.

My daughter is a little past the target audience of the book, but I still feel that the key words are good for her to keep hearing and seeing the pictures that go with it. It will help ingrain the process.

"I have read a fair number of Katz's books now. I was excited about this one because I find most of her books (either written or just illustrated) cute and fun. But, this book about potty's wasn't that great. Each page having a full page flap to pull out was a little awkward even for me as an adult. I skimmed the text and wasn't that impressed. It seemed to be more about the child resisting potty training then instructing. Maybe I will change my mind when we get to this hurtle, but right now this will not be a go to potty book for us. I also disliked that the child was gender-less. If there is one time that an illustration should have a clear gender, its a potty training book, especailly if it is supposed to be how-to book.
