"There is a lot taken from his other books and articles. If this is the only Lionel book you purchase you will find it lacking. Electrical information is a problem for Schiecher who basically says hire someone to do your electrical - what BS." Robert Crouse said.

"Overall it's not a bad book. Well-photographed, some nice insights and gave me a far better insight into Fastrack. The mid-sized layouts are nice and compelling. A single good source that is nice to be able to turn to while out with the layout. It gets a thumb up.

"Nice picture but does not go into much detail and I was really looking for some help wiring Fastrak blocks to run two trains. Index title led me to believe it would. Not so took one look at that chapter and packed this book up for return." John Hinkle said.
