Book Introduction: Darlene has never attended public school, and she’s pretty sure she will have nothing in common with the average Bangor High student. When your Mum is a movie star and life has been all travel and the finest tutors, public high seems underwhelming. The game changes when Darlene asks Daddy if she can go to Paris over Christmas break. The argument turns into a hasty and ironic bet. If Darlene can become ridiculously popular by December, she can go to Paris. Ridiculosity has never stopped Darlene before, and Google has all of the answers she needs. By studying the alpha psychology wolf packs and the principle of least interest, she plans to use her unfairly-amazing brain to dominate the popular cliques. *However* there are two things her research did not prepare her for: the evil forces of Korey Grant, and the unreasonably-hot Jason Page Witness as Darlene encounters doorways of unusual sizes, sneaky uses of lemon squares, a cheerleader emergency, and two cases of pancake trickery...
