" Wish I read this golden book before I saw the movie, could have saved myself some time & money. " said.

"The book has great visuals and the story structure is solid and to the point. I have not seen this movie yet but in general I enjoy reading the book first when possible.

This book is meant as a gift for my 5 y.o. nephew who is beginning to read. I pre-read it to gauge whether he'd be able to "help someone" read it along with him, or read it all by himself. It's definitely not an easy reader style. More of a 'let's explore the story pages' style of an experience, which makes for great fun and quality time. I hope he'll enjoy the visuals as much I as do. I have enjoyed these books growing up and I'm happy to say that the illustrator of this title is a friend of mine so I'm especially looking forward to sharing this experience with him.

"‘The Good Dinosaur’ is the newest addition in Disney’s series Little Golden Book that is going to accompany the upcoming release of eponymous Pixar/Disney’s animated movie. The book brings the adventures of one charming Dinosaur named Arlo who is going to meet a very unusual creature that will become his best friend – a human boy.

Young reader will be introduced to two main, already mentioned, characters and few others – Arlo’s family – that all together live in beautiful setting of planet Earth’s ancient history. And though the history will go in the other direction, this story of friendship is just as inspiring and beautiful…

As was the case with all the previous titles in the series, such as “Planes” or “Frozen”, this book is designed in the classic Disney style with beautiful colorful full-spread illustrations most appealing to the youngest readers, age from 2 to 6, that are the targeted audience for these Disney releases.

As was written in my reviews for previous editions, is somewhat a shame that these picture books have only 24 pages, because seems kind of demanding to squeeze the full feature movie (usually lasting around 2h) in such small number of pages.

Yet, you can be sure that your kids, as much as my 3-year daughter did, will enjoy these colorful scenes and easy to follow story with great lesson.
