"The message in this story is exactly what I live every day with my daughter. When we read the story together this evening, she finally understood that her mom IS the perfect mom for her. Well done, Sally Huss, well done!" said.

"Cute story, my 5-year-old loved it good message. And I was pleased with the message, your own mom is the best mom for you. " said.

"This is a wonderful story for children letting them know they are loved even as they find this out on their own. I think even for those without a mother or a loving mother to realize "Mother Love" is an energy that is always around us if we are open to receive. I think this book should be read by teenagers who think the grass is always greener and that another mother might let them get away with their shenanigans. I know when I was a teenager I thought I knew everything. Now, this many years later I appreciate all that my mother had to endure while I found my way. It's a wonderful thing when you find your own tribe to which you belong. It made me think of all the different kinds of mothers there are in the world and how they guide their own to be in the world. Thank you Sally for another great book. You always write such inspired works." said.

"Sally Huss' book "Will You Be My Mother" is, from an adult viewpoint, totally predictable as to outcome. But that didn't lessen my enjoyment of it. It is a delightful depiction of a baby raccoon who is unhappy with his Mom's requests. He goes searching for a substitute and better mother. He meets a wide variety of other families, but each is not quite what he needs and/or is looking for. In the end he realizes the power of true love and finds his rightful, and enjoyable, place to live. It contains a powerful message for children, who are often faced with undesirable rules/requests from a parent/parents, and a fun read for the adult involved in this adventure also. I would recommend it to anyone - especially those with kids." said.

"Cute story based on every child's thought at some point that some other mother might be better. Various animal characters provide opportunity for additional discussion and interaction while reading." said.

"Sweet story and text that won't be lost on the older age range (7-8 year-olds). Many of us think that there is something better out there, only to find out what we have is perfect (for us) in every way. Wonderful imagery and great message!" said.
