"A very pleasingly colorful and engaging book for young kids. It's the perfect length for bedtime, break time, or any time reading.
It all starts with a prince who flies off on a magical dragon. They travel to distant lands and discover many wonderful sights. Magic takes place but we won't tell you where or what--you'll have to read the book to find out what happens.
Children will love this book whether they read it themselves or it's read to them. The artwork is superb, kind, and entertaining. It's a book sure to become a fast favorite to be read again and again.
There's a fun challenge for every reader to find the stinky cheese that is Nibble's favorite piece of food to eat. It appears on every page, but it's sometimes hard to find. Good Luck!" Lisa's Kids' Book Reviews said.
"Melinda Kinsman has done it again!! Her illustrations make you want to jump into the story! The story is great too! The Prince wants to help people except the King! The King is not a nice guy at all!!!!The dragon needs help and magically lands in the Prince's room. Their adventure to find a wizard to help the Dragon allows the reader to see the fun in helping
others!! Great story filled with rhymes, great illustrations and a lesson! Its a good read for all ages!!!" Bobbi Capwell said.
"Ok well the stinky cheese isn't a major character in the story but you can find it on every page if you look hard. This is a cute book for little boys about 4-6 about a dragon who needs help breathing fire and a prince who helps him and makes helping his purpose in life. There are some simple puzzles at the end of the book.
Good clean fun!" azebra said.
"My 4 year old and my 8 year old both thought this was a fun book! My 4 year old loves the dragon and my 8 year old had a great time reading it to him! What a fun story! A perfect adventure for this age group! I would recommend this book!!" Elizabeth Bostic said.
"I'm a fan of Melinda Kinsman and her books. The stories are always uplifting, as are the colorful illustrations. She is a keen student of rhythm and rhyme, which my daughter (3 y.o.) and I love in our read-alouds. Also, there's always a little something to keep little ones looking deeper into the illustrations. After the first read-through, the hidden object is the first thing my daughter wants from each page.
The prince and his dragon is a heartwarming tale of friendship and giving--a good lesson for us all." Bryan Williams said.
"Written in a smooth rhyming rhythm, this is a wonderful story to stir your child’s imagination!

"I hate the fact that I am being made to rate even before I have read it. Hence I am convinced that the book is bad." Padmaparna Chaudhuri said.
