"These stories are well told to keep he attention of kids over nine and under fifteen. That's not an easy age group to write for, but the author did an excellent job of narrating to preteens. The stories are spooky, but not enough to cause a months worth of nightmares. These are stories the kids will want to read to their friends at a slumber party. I know my kids did. The author did a great job of playing on fear and making the stories believable. I was pulled in and had to keep reading to find out what would happen next. Overall a great collection of Halloween stories.
I recommend this to preteens.
