Book Introduction: Gray Elephant, Gray Elephant, what do you see? I see a brown monkey climbing a tree. Brown Monkey, Brown Monkey, what do you see? I see a pink pig roaming free ... This rhyming illustrated children's book teaches preschoolers animals and colors. The colors are gray, brown, pink, yellow, purple, white, orange, blue, black, green and red. The animals are an elephant, a monkey, a pig, a slug, a snake, a koala, a mouse, a duck, an owl, a crocodile and a crab. It was inspired by one of my favorite picture books: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.
