"Nice little collection of classic stories that children love. You'll probably like them, too! The selected stories are entertaining, but at the same time they teach important concepts. Quick little stories, perfect for before bed, and there are pictures too!" Steve Banton said.
"Really sweet and short stories that you can read to your kids. You can read each for about 5 minutes and I am sure that your kids would want more. Mine did! I really liked the first story in this book and that make be buy it. I was searching for something like that for a long time now. I was running out of bedtime stories to tell my kids when I saw this book. I can only recommend it." Billy Rand said.
"This is the second book I have read by this author and I must say that I was even more surprised than I was the first time. The stories are well thought out and capture the reader taking them into the fantasy world of fairy tales. Of course the book is for children but as an adult that has read many children's books I need to add that this book is enjoyable for anyone to read. Moms, dads and grandparents, all, should have this book in their collection to read to their children and grand children! Once again Beatrice Wood has made a masterpiece!!!" Demetra S. Gerontakis said.
"This book was very interesting, although it does have one story that had death that I had not expected. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend this to other people." Alice said.
"yeah... um not exactly all for children. Was kinda surprised when my 9yo daughter exclaimed... "oh, that's aweful !"... and then proceeds to tell me about a story where a girl gets her head chopped off with an axe. Guess that's my own fault for not pre reading it... but I sort of assumed by the title that it was for children. Silly me." steve said.
"I am a preschool teacher and I downloaded the Kindle version of this book for free to read to my children at nap time. I have questions about the proofreading and editing of this book, as it is riddled with punctuation and capitalization errors.
Example: Both the father and the son were overjoyed and they said: “look!, look!, the thunderstorm has brought us beautiful gifts.”
There were other very basic errors that were not caught, like 'her' when it should have been 'him'. Correct punctuation, spelling, grammar and word usage should matter, especially in published work.
