" In this story, Baby Bear is looking for Mama Bear. He sees a large variety of animals (some that were very new to my class like the blue heron). " said.

" We love Brown Bear, so we had to check out the others in this series. And I think this one is my favorite! In this one, all of the animals are native to the Western US and I think it paints a beautiful picture of nature, with the natural movement and location of each animal presented. Bonus points for having them all illustrated in their natural colors ;-) " said.

" This was the first book I read to my daughter! " said.

" A good book for a beginning reader. Full of easy, repetitive sentences and words. " said.

" Simple book with various Canadian wild animals. Pretty repetitive. " said.

" The version of this book we read was a tabbed style presentation. My wee one loved the tabs and I loved the animal names for her to discover. " said.

" This is obviously the best one because (spoiler) it has an owl in it. " said.

" My boy adores this book and the illustrations are amazing. " said.
