"I love this book and so does my 3 y/o son. The story expresses a mothers unconditional love for her son and does so in a way that kids will find fun and silly. This is one of my favorites!" A Reviewer said.
"My grandchildren, ages 5 and 6, really enjoy this book being read to them. I would recommend it to anyone with young children." ortizbren1 said.
"I remember reading this to my son when he was a little boy, so of course, when he and his wife announced they were expecting their first child (and my first grandchild!), I purchased this book. It tells the story of how the mama loves her son's artwork "just the way it is!"" LD said.
"I'm a kindergarten teacher and a mother. I think this is the best children's book ever written. I don't know why it's out of print when other Frank Asch books are still in print. Thank goodness for Amazon, where I found many used copies for my classroom, my son, and my friends!!!! Any child would love this book. If you are a teacher, you'll read it over and over to your students as they laugh anew each time!" sarahmna said.
"So happy these books have been released again. My daughters loved them and now my granddaughter loves them just as much." PABETO said.
"Another in Frank Asch's Bear book series this one shows how Baby Bear makes a picture of his Mom. Unfortunately, the little fellow makes a number of funny changes that are suggested by his animal friends. Of course, when he is finally done the picture doesn't exactly resemble his mother.
Young readers love the simple illustrations in this series and the narrative is easy enough so that a child just beginning to read can handle the text. All in all, you'll find your toddler will like this funny tale of an art project gone wrong." Bob Walch said.
"My son & I loved this book!! Too comical & cute!! Wonderful addition to a home library!" Nan said.
