" So far it’s an easy and quick read " said.

" This a pretty good book for beginners. If you're just new to Python but not programming, you can skip/skim Part 1 and do the projects to get your feet wet. " said.

" Seems more like Python thrash course " said.

"For those that they start Python and Django it is a very good book. I don't know whether it will be easy to read for those that they don't know Web development. I had previous experience with Ruby on Rails and hence the content was easy for me.
However, I admin that it has been very useful to me for a start to Django after having worked so many years with Ruby on Rails.
Please, note that it refers to Django 1.9 version whereas I worked with having Django 2.0 installed. Few things I had to change / apply differently from what the book suggested. So, don't be afraid to read it just because it is Django 1.9.

" I finished the first part of the book and it was a very neat introduction to Python.I was also very impressed by the chapters about testing and file management since file management is surprisingly simple in Python. To conclude, I have put the projects on hold and might eventually check them out in the near future. " said.

" I’ve read a lot of programming books; we’re talking LOTS of programming books. This may be the best. The book is far more complete, to the point, and more organized than anything you’ll find online. If you’re already versed in a scripting language (Perl, TCL, etc.), this Book will help you make the transition to Python in no time.Highly (HIGHLY) recommended! " said.

" Python Crash Course: A Hands-On, Project-Based Introduction to Programming is a book that does exactly what the title says. It's a crash course on Python. There's the basics as well as some more advanced things. The book ends with three projects: a game, a REST API and a web application. The author even shows you how to work with some widely used frameworks.Read the full review at my blog. " said.

" Python Crash Course is a great introductory book to the Python language. It covers the main topics of the Python Language while allowing the reader to dive into the pratical aspects of it. The projects proposed at the end of the book are very interesting and challenging, giving a light overview of the power of the language. For people with a programming background knowledge (my case), it's quite a quick read because you often skip some basic and common content to most programming languages.
