" What an amazingly beautiful book! It is truly stunning. " said.

"I picked up this book on a whim, while browsing at my library, drawn in by its inviting cover and beautiful artwork. It did not disappoint.

Considering that I've long been fascinated by India -- its tales, food, history -- it's a little surprising that I've never read a translation of the Ramayana. This is a compelling retelling of a story cycle I was barely familiar with, written in a way that impresses the reader with the timelessness of the original: an old story that has stood the test of time and many retellings.

I'm eager to read the rest of the trilogy!

" This is just an outstanding book as an illustrated series based on the Ramayana --- still reading it but just wanted to get it rated and acknowledge the marvelous work of Vrinda Sheth! " said.

" Received as a Goodreads win. This is a beautiful book. The illustrations are gorgeous and bring the stories to life. Each chapter is well told and captures the beauty and complexity of the Ramayana. I look forward to seeing the second and third books. " said.
