" Brought this in for my RE catechists as well. " said.

" GREAT illustrations. Interesting info about the publisher. Open Road produces many great titles, this one from 1980, in the e-book format. This one needs to be held. " said.

" Great illustrations and a good translation. " said.

" Beautiful re-telling of the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patron saint of Mexico.Gr. 3-5 " said.

" 12/10: We love all things Tomie dePaola over here. This book is a lovely retelling of the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We enjoyed it so much, we bought a copy for our church library. " said.

" There are tremendous gaping holes in my knowledge of biblical things. One part I never quite understood was how the Blessed Virgin was different from and the same as Mary of Guadalupe. Now I know. " said.

" Another beautiful work of art from Tomie de Paola. Too bad it's out of print and a used paperback on Amazon is going for $45.00!!! Dang! " said.

" I like the idea of this story more than the execution. The picture are nice, classic De Paola with a subtle palette. The story is clear but lacks imagination and intrigue. It seems like a dry retelling of the legend. I would, however, love to see Juan Diego's tilma someday. " said.
