" A terrific example of non-fiction that can be used picture book style. The photos are clear, colorful and well laid out. With older children you would be likely to read more of the text, with younger children you could read the headers and then discuss the pictures. Terrific. " said.

" Beautiful illustrations and I love the way the book plays on the senses, but it's unclear to me as to who the intended audience is. At times the concepts are directed to a very young age group while at others the concepts are directed to an older audience. " said.

" Beautiful and informative. I was surprised that even my kindergartener sat through this one because it's fairly long, but the photos and illustrations are really engaging and the facts are interesting. I learned a few new things, myself! " said.

" Love this book! The entire book talks about the different things that happen in autumn. It talks about the leaves changing, the holidays in autumn, the smells and tastes of autumn, and much more.Great book to use for fall/seasons. Also a good informational text with descriptive illustrations. " said.

" This has so much information in it to share with kids. Lots of cool science fall facts related to autumn. It will make a good read aloud and one kids will want to grab and read on their own. Lexie 690 / AR 4.2 Recommend " said.

" Genre: InformationalThis non-fiction picture books is cram-packed with very concrete illustraions that show how the seasons change from summer to fall. Themes: attributes, change, constant (second grade vocabulary)Way to use the book: This book would enhance grades K-2 in a science read-aloud. Pages to focus on should be pre-marked as there is quite a lot of information in this book. " said.

" I think I am in a good mood today because I have rated 3 books as 5 today..I think I might be coming down with a cold. ANYWAYS! I love fall and I love this book. The pictures are fantastic, the information is wonderful and simple, and it has inspired me to do a leaf rubbing. This is a fun way to talk about Fall with out it being boring and factual! Thumbs up! " said.

" This is a good, simple, factual picture book about autumn that could be used in elementary school and in middle and high school special education classes. From how does frost form to which leaves change color and why to the shapes and tastes of autumn, the book has lovely photographs and interesting information. " said.
