" I dig it. If the Incredibles had a lovechild with the Grimms, it would be this graphic novel. It's also really cool that this series doesn't dumb it down for kids, but puts a handy-dandy glossary in the back. " said.

" I love this whole series! I think this one might be just barely behind Ninjarella as my favorites. I love reading these to all my kids, but I'm particularly grateful that my girls can read them and be excited. " said.

" Really great introduction to graphic novels for smaller children, my daughter loved it. Also really liked the glossary at the back with words kids may not be familiar with, and the visual questions section which made it more interactive when we were reading it together. " said.

" This is a reworking of the classic Little Red Riding Hood tale and I loved it. I liked the art, the dialogue, and the clever way the original characters came into play. I loved the back story of the hood, and General Huntsman was awesome. Highly recommend. " said.

" This action-packed, easy-to-read, short graphic novel provides the exact right balance of scaffolding and novelty for hi-lo readers, or any kid looking for a quick fractured fairy tale. Frampton's artwork is dynamic and provides the exact right level of detail for a story like this. " said.

" Red Riding Hood becomes a less helpless in this awesome graphic novel. Her backstory is fantastic. Overall, this version definitely empowers the girls in the story. Grandma is the President and Red Riding Hood has superpowers. This is a fun modern retelling of the traditional story that all kids will enjoy. " said.

" This is first book I have read in the Far Out Fairy Tales series, and I loved it. The story is cute and alludes to real characters and plots in the original folk tales, but also adds humor and other elements that will be interesting to children. As far as the graphic novel element, this is a great book series for young ones who need a good place to start learning how to read graphic novels and their cues. Super fun and super entertaining.
