"Great little book of the Hans Christian Anderson story. I read to pre-schoolers and purchased it for that purpose, but it is a bit too wordy for them and the pictures are small for a group to see. Therefore the 4 stars." DianeD said.
"I didn't really like this version or the illustrations, I don't know, I have read better versions (with better illustrations) of this tale in my childhood. The concept of the story is still the same though, more or less." NYC Gal said.
"My 2nd grade daughter enjoyed this book. This book is on her read list for school." EDDIE DOMING said.
"Many versions exist but this is my favorite because of the illustrations (I laughed) and the reminder at the end of the book (About the story) ... "All we know is that the story of the emperor will last forever because in every man's heart is the hope that there will always be someone to speak the truth where there is hypocrisy. And because as long as there are foolish grownups in the world, there will be children who cannot be fooled."" Hauoli said.
"My 7yo daughter is struggling to read. This book is one she picked out, and we both enjoy reading it together. There are pages with smaller font and more advanced language for me to read. Her pages have larger font and more simplistic language, but the story flows together really nicely. It's just silly enough to keep us reading." SKYLER CURTIS said.
"The story line is horribly out of order! I would not recommend this version to any one but an editor to put it right. This was a very disappointing purchase and a waste of money. Please have this setup reviewed and fixed. Thank you." ICRhino said.
