" Great for a beginner, but not so much for advanced. It has some neat projects in it, if you are into that kind of thing. I was hoping for more patterns, but there aren't a lot and the ones that are in there, you first have to photocopy and then use tracing paper. " said.

" I've been wanting to get back into embroidery so I picked this up at the library. The patterns are very sweet and simple - perfect! What I love is that they are simple enough to be used on a wide variety of objects - pillow cases, dresses, jeans... " said.

" This book is so adorably photographed that you want to make every single project in here. I personally am going to make every single project in here, including the embroidered Converse that were so stinking cute...I cannot wait to look down and see them on my own two feet. " said.

" LOVED this book! So good that I am going to BUY it next month! Really great for inspiration. The projects were ok, but the stitching designs were absolutely fun and easy to adapt to where you want to use them. " said.

" I've been embroidering for years, but I still was able to pick up some ideas from this book (like using crayons to color in designs). I think its a good reference for both amateurs and skilled embroiderers. " said.

" I don't embroider but this book makes me wish I did -- really cute, attractive stitches and design ideas here. I checked this out for the "doodle" aspect and found a lot of inspiration in the colors and subject matter. " said.

" For a fresh modern look at old fashioned embroidery stitches, check out this book. I bought fabric and floss to do one of the projects in the book, and have been through the book twice. I hate to return it to the library! " said.

" Very clear, inspiration book. Since I already know how to embroider and I always use my own patterns, this book wasn't very useful to me. But I loved her project ideas and the instruction and stitching diagrams were really well done. I would recommend it to someone new to embroidery who is looking to branch out from store bought transfers. " said.
