" The art is a little trippy, but interesting. The "story" felt a little too Dahli but not like it's a dream, it's a nightmare, it's supposed to teach something but not because it tells us who the 3 figures are in the first picture but no one else is explained. The 5 yr old really liked the picture of Kafka though so there's that " said.

"I thought this one was weird. Text/story was fine, but illustrations were sometimes creepy. Also odd, on the first car were 3 clowns named Franz, Sam, and Eugene. On the next page in parenthesis, it tells us that these are "the writers Franz Kafka, Samuel Beckett, and Eugene Ionesco." So I thought there would be more famous people/things represented on the following pages. Not so, this is the only one. Why? What is the purpose of just the one? Why aren't there more? Why any? Not that kids would know who those people are anyway. It's just....weird." said.
