"I received my book yesterday and was excited to use it in my multi-age classroom! I teach 2nd-8th in a one room school house and Cliffhangers is a perfect addition to our Language Arts time. The students had more excitement about writing than I had seen all year!!" said.

"Good story starters. If one has young children who are starting to write stories, this gives them ideas, prompts to use." said.

"This is a great, creative, fun book for kids. Both my 9-year old and 7-year old loved the stories and enjoyed reading them and coming up with fun endings!" said.

"These prompts have let my 3rd grader get creative with his writing and think outside the box." said.

"This book is the perfect resource to get student creative juices flowing. What a great way to take the anxiety out of staring at a blank page and encourage imagination. I can see children sharing their stories and marveling at all the different outcomes. A must have for any teacher who teaches writing!" said.

"I am teaching a creative writing class for 2-6 grade students, and my kids and I LOVE this book! In fact, we use it as our opener for every session. (We only meet once a week, so it doesn't get old. I'm not sure *any* single writing prompt book would work for a daily approach.) We've done it in a variety of ways -- kids writing their own conclusions to the stories, working in pairs or threes (oral or written), and orally with the whole group. Either way it works well. The kids have loved collecting their samples in their folders, and are very proud of what they've come up with. Many choose to keep going during our free-writing time as well.

I have also used this with my five-year-old and her friends, and they adore it as well. It makes a wonderful play date activity. It's a great way to enhance younger children's creativity, introduce story structure, etc.

"Excellent little book. Such an affordable price, for so much fun. These prompts are very well done, and not too cheesy. We had fun. I would give a piece of advice to any homeschool moms: These are more fun, when done once a week or so. We tried to use them 3-4 times per week and that made it lose the excitement." said.
