"Stardust Child is not a rhymed book, but it is rhythmic, and can be read out loud with enthusiasm. It is based in the idea that the entire universe is interconnected, and that each child is made up of atoms released by stars, a scientific notion proposed by Neil deGrasse Tyson an astrophysicist, cosmologist, and author. The writing in this book follows the same track as "This Is the House That Jack Built" going from the milk the child drinks to connection to the universe. The illustrations get increasingly more interesting as the universe comes into focus, with the child and cow sprinkled with stars. " said.
