" Great book- I can see why a lot of people have recommended this series to me. The suspense is constant in this book, as well as non-stop action. Also, the ending is very well done, with a massive plot twist at the end, that sets up perfectly the next book in the series. I'm excited to start reading the rest of these books! " said.

"Eagle Strike, the fourth book in the Alex Rider series, is not a let down. This book begins with Alex vacationing in France with his friend Sabina. However, the fun vacation quickly takes a turn for the worst when Alex spots a prominent assassin, Yassen Gregorovich. In this book Alex fights to uncover the evil plot of a world-beloved pop star and philanthropist.

Horowitz once again delivers a fun and action-packed book, with all of the Alex Rider fan's favorite characters returning. I highly recommend this series for anyone who is looking for action-packed light reading, full of fun gadgets and familiar characters.

"Um I gues I have to do a book teaser, so here goes. Eagle Strike, by Anthony Horowitz is a very interesting book. At the beginning, Alex is vacationing with his friend Sabina when he see his worst enemy, Yassen Gregorovich. He follows him and witnesses him talking about something blowing up. When they return to where their staying, their house is in smithereens and Sabinas dad is in the hospital. Nobody has any idea why it happened, but they find a half burned article that the man was writing saying something bad about damian cray, super star. Alex thinks he knows who has done this, and is determined to get revenge. But when he goes to MI6 they say that Damian cray is nothing but a saint. Driven by anger, Alex decides to find out on his own. What he finds will shock you, and he will gain an unexpected ally. Read it!" said.

"Another fantastic book in the Alex Rider series!

I don't have much to say that's not a spoiler, though...

"Alex Rider is a schoolboy who got sucked into the world of espionage after the death of his uncle, that had left him an orphan. This is the 4th book in the Alex Rider series and this one is quite different from the rest (or perhaps that's just because I hadn't read the graphic novel for this one before the actual book).
While on vacation with his friend Alex comes across an old enemy, not understanding what could possibly lead the assassin to him, he follows him. In this book Alex is actually not forced into espionage by MI6 but instead he somehow falls into it himself because of his curiosity and anger at a certain event. And that's really all I can say.

As always the adventure pretty cool (even more so since this time I didn't actually know the plot), the characters all have their own personality (one which even makes you feel sorry for the villains) and well the gadgets seem to appear at exactly the right moment (but hey i'm not complaining).

***** SPOILERS AHEAD *****
READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...

NNNOoooooo.... I cannot believe that Russian assassin just died.. he was like one of my favourite characters.
But seriously though, I cannot wait to get to the 10th book because that one is supposed to be all about him...

I was kinda annoyed with Sabina in this one, it just seemed as if she didn't do much for the story other than be the victim and then just leave in the end. I also can't wait to read more about scorpia and just find out more about Alex's past.. It just feels like before these books were separate stories about the same spy, but now they're actually becoming one story and they're connecting together and I think that just makes it so much better...

All in all this was a nice, short read that got me hooked for the rest of the series.. and with that... end of rant.

"I really like this series yet this one was the best yet. It was full of action from the beginning, it was the best start in my opinion. Not sure how Alex is still 14, 4 books in, and it seems like only a few months have gone by, the timeline doesn't seem great, but still a fabulous book.

Alex has a great way of working through problems, and I like how people still underestimate him, you think by now people wouldn't. Yassen seems to be the only one who sees his true worth.

The story is always new and exciting, I am very much looking forward to seeing what happens next in the next one.
