If I Could Ask God Anything by Kathryn Slattery was a fantastic book! Easy to read and full of questions and answers that are easily understandable for any child.

It starts off with a parents guide which was fabulous. Then broken into sections of the bible, with common questions kids might want to know.

There is an explanation of the questions with bible verses to refer to, along with a reason at the end of each question as to why God did or said a particular thing.

I absolutely loved this book and not only can it benefit children with questions, but new Christians as well. Aren't new Christians like children anyways as they try to learn about their faith? I wished I would have had this book when I first started reading the bible and became a new Christian.

Slattery did such a magnificent job with If I Could Ask God Anything. I would recommend this book to anyone that has questions about God, Jesus, and the bible.

It would be great for any Church to have on hand as well.

I give it ***** (5) Stars, BK Walker. http://bkwalkerbooks.weeby.com

"Packaged in a very easy question-and-answer format, Kathryn Slattery covers topics such as the truth of the Bible, the reality of God, intercessory prayer and the importance of memorizing Scripture. She also covers more light-hearted topics such as Jesus’ clothing style, His last name and boring church services. The Table of Contents is very well organized into eleven categories, each containing anywhere from 10 to 30+ questions.

As a born-again Christian my concerns are found in the underlying acceptance of a broader use of the term ”Christian.” Overall the book is a good complement to your library of children’s helps for specific questions. I would not recommend adding it directly to your child’s library however. As with most books on the market today, one has to use discernment as to what to utilize and what to dismiss. Though many of her questions/answers are Biblically sound, there are a few core beliefs where she simply fails to state Biblical truth, but instead opts for the broader acceptance of beliefs (i.e. Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox, etc) whether or not they are truly Biblical.

" Passing this book around as a reference for Bible lessons with our 6-7 year old kids. I like the summaries in this book and scripture references which allow us to refer to His Word in context. " said.

" A good start to teaching kids apologetics. " said.

" I have a 4 year old and I have a 17 month old. My 4 year old has asked me lots of Questions about Jesus/God because we do not go to church but we pray and I read to them Bible Stories. I was so delighted to get the chance to review this book, My 4 year old and I sat together while I read the book to her and she would ask me some Questions I would explain what it was saying she loves this book and she is 4 lol. She told grandma " Guess what Grandma God is not human so he watches me all the time " I about died laughing lol. When her daddy got home from work yesterday she looked at him and said daddy did you know I can write in my Bible? lol we tell her all the time she is not allowed to write in her books ...so when this came up in this book I explain to her she could highlight with a yellow marker or with ink to remember a certain thing. She still did not understand me being so little but that was a good one :). I rate this book a 5 out of 5 because it is very educational for children trying to learn about God. I would recommend this to anyone even if your not christian because you too can read it and learn a lot as well.
