"3.5 stars. I believe this was abridged, dang it. I hate abridged books. I've been wanting to read a complete, full life study of Hitler and this book did a decent job of it, especially at the end it gave a brief history of Hitler's life. But I think I missed out by listening to it because apparently the hard copy had a lot of great pictures. I'm amazed that he was able to pull off what he did. To command that respect and obedience from so many people is just wild. I still don't know how Germany had the man power and resources to fight and conquer so much in WWII after losing so bad in WWI. We need Walter Isaacson to do his biography. I also need to read a biography of General George S. Patton. He was badbeep and a Beep-fearing man. Can't find many of those men these days. I was sad to learn (view spoiler)" said.

" Highly readable but more info about Eisenhower, Bradley and Patton than Hitler. " said.

" Hey short and concise history of the final days of the war, a very easy read, however it is more an overall perspective then an in-depth look at Hitler's last days " said.

" Not so much about "Hitler's" last days as the movements of Allied and Axis troops but still a good read. I guess I thought it would be more biographical like his others. " said.

" It is basically a good summary of Hitlers regime, nothing like Bill O'Reillys, Killing Lincoln (which is one of my favorite books). The number of photos used make this a fast - easy read. " said.

" A grim record of the closing days of World War II in the European sector ... focuses on Hitler and Patton ... begins in East Prussia on October 21, 1944 and continues to the surrender of Berlin ... " said.

" I read killing Patton. This was the cliff notes companion. Enjoyed my recap of hitler. It is a sorry world to. It remember his insanity and the lives it coast. Like all of o'reilly's books to theorist and interesting " said.

" This is a good book for youth to read. It's easy reading with lots of photos and gives a good outline of the last of the war and Hitler. There are several short chapters at the end that tell about different subjects pertaining to the war which is well done and very interesting. Of course this is an outline, not a detailed history but well worth reading. " said.
