"I was excited to find this book, because I love World War II history and I thought it would really talk about Hitler's last days - what he was thinking; how long did he hold on to his dream of victory; what events finally broke his spirit. I wanted to learn more about who was with him in the bunker and why Eva Braun was willing to die by his side. While this book addressed all those issues, it was done very superficially - almost like "Hitler's Last Days for children." Each chapter jumped to a new event in the last 6 months of the war without going into detail about anything. Each chapter was about 3 pages long, and that included the photos! If you knew nothing, this book would give you the general idea of what happened. But I wanted much more, and it just wasn't there. " said.

" Highly readable but more info about Eisenhower, Bradley and Patton than Hitler. " said.

" Hey short and concise history of the final days of the war, a very easy read, however it is more an overall perspective then an in-depth look at Hitler's last days " said.

" Not so much about "Hitler's" last days as the movements of Allied and Axis troops but still a good read. I guess I thought it would be more biographical like his others. " said.

" It is basically a good summary of Hitlers regime, nothing like Bill O'Reillys, Killing Lincoln (which is one of my favorite books). The number of photos used make this a fast - easy read. " said.

" A grim record of the closing days of World War II in the European sector ... focuses on Hitler and Patton ... begins in East Prussia on October 21, 1944 and continues to the surrender of Berlin ... " said.

" I read killing Patton. This was the cliff notes companion. Enjoyed my recap of hitler. It is a sorry world to. It remember his insanity and the lives it coast. Like all of o'reilly's books to theorist and interesting " said.

" This is a good book for youth to read. It's easy reading with lots of photos and gives a good outline of the last of the war and Hitler. There are several short chapters at the end that tell about different subjects pertaining to the war which is well done and very interesting. Of course this is an outline, not a detailed history but well worth reading. " said.
