"The Darkness Fairy is determined to create a world so full of color and so beautiful that fairies from all over will come to visit it, so she creates an army of color sticks. Things get a bit messy when Mr. Black gets jealous of the other colors and starts tricking others so he can take over and render the other colors useless. It's up to Mr. White to put a stop to Mr. Black's trickery and disobedience, but it won't be easy! In the end, it becomes clear that even a seemingly unimportant color (or person) can make all the difference in the world if he or she is willing to stand up for what they believe in. This one had a twist to it, which made it exciting for the kids to read." Kitty Smith said.
"I am eight years old and I liked this book heaps. One of my favorite things to do is draw and I like how there were colours and fairies that were part of the story.
I also think that Mr. Black shouldn’t of tried to take over the world and that Mr. White is a really good guy. Mr White was a hero and it was sad what happened but it gave an important lesson, too. I learn’t that if you do bad it won’t work out at the end and it can hurt others. And that what good someone can do can make a big difference to others. =)" Caroline said.
