" Not the words my mama said to me, but then again I told my kids something different as well. Fun book for little ones. " said.

" I like that there's two pictures for each line: one of the baby playing with their toes, and one of the baby dressed up as a little piggy acting out the words. " said.

"We began our "Pig-tastic" story time for children ages 1 to 5 with this version on the familiar nursery rhyme. Using fingers instead of toes we invited the children to repeat the segments of the verse in Spanish!

Este cochinito (this little piggy)
al mercado salio` (went to market) and so forth.

"Illustrator Annie Kubler does a fantastic job with this children’s board book meant for babies with simple images that are warm and inviting. The is nursery rhyme story of the This Little Piggy. Each time you turn the page a baby can see two things. One page has a baby playing with his toes (the way the game is played) and another page has a picture of what the Piggy would actually be doing if the game was real. I read this to my grandson and he LOVED it! This book is a part of the Child’s Play series and the length (reading time) of the book, the actual physical size of the book and the simple pictures work perfect together. " said.

" I thought that this was a cute book to read to the younger ones. it was short and sweet. not too long that the kids will get bored. I would recommend this book to others. " said.

" In addition to a baby dressed as a pig to move the playful song along, the baby also shows which toe is which in case the reader needed a reminder. ;) " said.

" Annie Kubler's rhymes books from Child Play are such a delight! They are so captivating, self explanatory and simple enough for even babies to follow! We've been reading this since my son was a few months old. " said.

" Ages 1-5. Each sentence has two pictures, one of the child playing with their toes allowing the children reading the story to act it out as well, and one with the child dressed as a pig acting out the sentence. I like the combination of imagination and play. The board book makes it easy for babies and toddlers to handle the pages. The physical play of moving from one toe to the next can help children understand sequencing, and help beginning counting. " said.
