" A rare story that is technically too long for 3-4 year olds, yet they always respond to it because of the music element. " said.

" Cute story about a beginners' band and how the people in their "community" deal with them, with a funny scary twist at the end. Bright and fun pictures. " said.

" A fun story about how fun it is to play music, even when there are a bunch of alligators trying to eat you. " said.

" Miles got a saxphone, decided to start a band, of course the only ones who appreciated his music were the alligators. Be careful when an alligator appreciates you. " said.

" Milo is given a saxaphone and forms a Swamp Band. Nobody likes their sound...except for the alligators who live at the swamp. Don't let them stay away, though! " said.

" I sooo remember this from Reading Rainbow! I really strongly remember the way the book was set to music in the episode and the phrase, "swamp bands play in the swamp." " said.

" This is a good book. It is about Miles and a Swamp band who go play at an Alligator ball, but when they are done playing, they realize they are on the menu. Good read a loud book. " said.

" Alligators don't get good representation in many books. I'm sure my dislike of them stems from children's picture books read in my formative years. " said.
