" Great easy reader science chapter book! " Ross said.
"Zoey wears her Thinking Goggles on TOP of her head, so they are closer to her brain. Those thinking goggles come in handy when she finds out that her mom helps take care of sick magical creatures in the barn behind their house! It's perfect timing - since her mom is going away for a week, now it's Zoey's turn to help. When a sick baby dragon turns up, Zoey uses scientific theories and experiments to find out what's wrong and help the dragon get better.
Adorable, educational and fun; great for young readers interested in animals and/or science. " Lindsey said.
"This is an excellent book that's both well written and well developed in terms of concept. The book aims to show scientific concepts as both usual and exciting parts of a child's daily life. I received an early copy to review and, to be honest, I had a slight bias towards the author when beginning the book. After reading the copy I'm both impressed by the ability to deliver valuable thought patterns in the form of an interesting fiction book and excited that there are two other books in the series already written! I'd highly encourage you to give any of the books in this series a try and then ask your local library to carry them so your community can benefit. " Peyton Herrington said.
"If you have a kiddo age 4- 10, you need to pick up this book. Zoey is discovers the ability to see magical creatures in her forest. She ( along with her bug-eating cat) uses her talents, conducts experiments, and uses the scientific process to help any of them who are injured or hurt. Some wonderful reasons why you should read this book: Big Font, Short Chapters, Adorable Pictures, Focus on One big scientific problem but with lots of other little problems to solve, Uses previous knowledge to help her learn, encourages reading, talks about even if you do something wrong the first time don't give up and try again. I look forward to reading the next in the series! This is a perfect fit especially if you want to encourage science/ problem-solve thinking with your kiddos." Molly Grimmius said.
" This series is a brilliant way to introduce the scientific method to kids! After reading the first book together, my son spent days running around with "thinking goggles" on his head and solving the problems of all the magical (a.k.a. stuffed) animals in his room. And the whimsical illustrations are adorable. (We received an advance copy of the book -- and so glad we did!) " Jessica Petersen said.
