" ~I received this book for free in a giveaway~This story was cute enough. The images that came with were amusing. It has a repetitive style of story telling that is common in children's books. However, even with the amusing premise I wouldn't want to get stuck reading this story over and over to a kid. " said.

" I love this one as much as the kids do! It's so much fun to read to them because the illustrations gave me the perfect clues as to what voice I need to use for each character. It's a blast! Although Buddy always has me skip the page where the crocodile bites Aunt Figgy's toe. I think I screamed too loudly the last time I read it to him. Hee hee. " said.

" This book was chosen by my daughter, but I am actually looking forward to it. The Christmas Crocodile is delivered to the wrong address and he tears the place up. On Christmas Eve and eats all the presents. On Christmas morning the owners of the crocodile come to get him and the family is happy to see him go. Except, one little girl who will miss him. " said.

" The family is surprised to find a crocodile under their tree. Everyone has their own plans as to what do with him, but Sophie wants to keep him and give him a home. Even though he eats and destroys everything in sight, everyone finds themselves a little attached and wanting to make his stay comfortable. After all, he doesn't mean to be bad, not really. Great story that is fun for the kids! " said.

" This is a very cute story about a crocodile found under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. He gets into a lot of trouble eating things he shouldn't be eating but he really doesn't want to be bad. He's just very hungry. The illustrations are beautifully done and children of all ages will enjoy this fun and amusing tale. I received the ebook for free through Goodreads First Reads. " said.

" I really enjoyed some aspects of this book (the setting and era, the humorous cast of characters, the sensitivity ultimately shown by the family) but some I did not like so much--the ending made me a bit sad and uncomfortable (view spoiler)[I think the crocodile is supposed to be happy to go to the petting zoo but I just felt very bad for it, especially since the beginning of the book shows it being taken from its native home in the swamp (hide spoiler)] " said.

" Silly Christmas fun with a zany cast of characters and some of David Small's usual great touches. I especially liked the expressions on the crocodile's face. He's like a lovable, mischievous puppy who just happens to chew his way through doors and eat all the Christmas presents and even the tree (a blue spruce!). It says the story was based on the author's experience with a Christmas dachshund puppy when she was young. " said.

" I won this book from Goodreads and I'm so glad I did win it.What would you do if you found a Crocodile under your Christmas tree....laugh out loud and enjoy reading about it. I enjoyed the pictures and laughed at each family member idea on what to do with the destructive crocodile. I have to say that my nephew and any new little member of our family will receive this book from me at Christmas. Great job Bonny Becker! " said.
