" Best of 2015. Solid. Love the simply told story. Love that comfort was always there when needed and the reassurance carried throughout. " said.

" Cute little Barker/Labrador has a hard time for fall asleep. This book might reassure some young readers who are afraid of things that go bump in the night. Spanish flows nicely. " said.

" Great bilingual (English/Spanish) easy reader/read aloud series. Text reminds me of the Dr. Seuss beginning reader titles and are set against vibrant childlike renderings of action occurring in the story. This bedtime story has a nice pattern to it: Barker's sleep is continuously interrupted by loud sounds in the night. Though the sounds may be scary, Mom and Dad are there to provide comfort and explanations.Highly recommended for a bilingual storytime and for PreK-2 " said.

" Cute, soothing, muted pictures, child-like artwork; the story talks about a young dog who is scared of noises in the dark and his parents' efforts to help him. He is reassured by his parents and eventually goes to sleep. It suffers from the same problem as all of the other books in this dual language series by failing to provide a pronunciation guide for either language. However, the language and vocabulary are excellent though lacking a rhythmic quality. " said.
