" Wow, this kid really runs the show. I liked the bilingual aspect, but the child seemed snotty and didn’t really seem to learn anything in the story. " said.

" This series really needs a pronunciation guide; a dual language primer should have pronunciation guides for both languages. Nice story with cute pictures, relatable events and everyday language but it could have used more humor. " said.

" Cute illustrations. Ok for a beginning reader or someone learning a second language. Different font and text color (black for English and blue for Spanish) make distinguishing the languages easy.Overall, pretty boring and that monkey is SASSY! The pattern isn't quite predictable enough to help emergent readers. " said.

" Love this bilingual (English/Spanish) series, but this book's story is only okay. The phrases yes and no are spotlighted here, through situations related to daily routine. This story felt a little choppier than other titles in this series, so I wouldn't start with this title. The digital artwork is very appealing, especially the angry face the little monkey makes when he's displeased.PreK-2. " said.

" What a great book to use with children to show them that yes and no are important words and can be used to tell others how we feel about somethings. The monkey family in the story are adorable and similar to Curious George which will delight young readers. " said.

" Very cute bedtime book. Child says "no" to some things (going to bed, brushing teeth) and yes to some (story, kisses). Story can be read in English and Spanish. Introduces English vocabulary to a Spanish speaker. " said.

"I like how the story is told in both English and Spanish so that the child becomes somewhat familiar with hearing the sound of a different language while reading. The translations went with what is the more familiar phrase rather than the exact translation which is a little disconcerting for someone like me who learned Spanish in high school and is not a native speaker. I'd love to hear the take of a native speaker on this and whether this was a good introduction to the language or not. I kind of wish there had been a little more story to this book though. " said.
