"For kids with active imaginations that cannot fathom sitting in a house all weekend!

This has to be one of the coolest books for kids that I've seen in a really long time! I love that it inspires kids of ALL ages to build wackadoodle stuff.. and just have fun! Personally.. I'd love to make the cool boat!! I have already told my husband that he cannot build the rocket ship toilet! lol.

It's so full of neat ideas and broaden their creativeness! If you're kids are curious and want to learn how to use various tools.. and make some really cool stuff.. GET THIS BOOK!! It's AWESOME!!! I am not familiar with the author and his youtube channel. I just liked the description of the book.. and had to have it for my library! I'm certain half the stuff in here will probably be outlawed as it causes kids to THINK! So, if you're one that believes kids should be outside, using their imagination.. GET THIS BOOK!!! This book isn't safe.. but, neither is life!!

"I originally wanted this book because ... well, Colin Furze is my favourite You-Tuber. I'm subscribed to his channel because I really like his mad and irreverent ideas and his videos are always entertaining. His book is just as mad as his videos and would be perfect for those youngsters who really want to start building and inventing stuff. It goes into detail about how to saw properly, how to strip wires and the like, as well as how to make things like concrete wellies and a Frisbee Flinger among other things. I also know now that 'Furze' means 'fart' in German. :D I'm sure the younger set would learn a lot from this book. (by the by, I'm not a kid myself. I'm 37 and already know how to strip wires and everything! Easy as stripping a sausage roll .... :D If you've got the book, you'll know why I said that!) This was good fun and a quick read, which isn't a bad thing because that means I enjoyed it! My dad, who is a proper-job engineer himself, has just started reading this book, as he likes Colin Furze's videos too." said.

"Thanks to Wunderkind PR and Razorbill Books for providing me with a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Shortly before the holiday season began, Wunderkind PR was gracious enough to send me this finished copy of Colin Furze’s This Book Isn’t Safe. I was so excited to snag this beast because I had my niece in mind. She’s super creative and loves experimenting, so I knew this would be the perfect book to add to her Christmas stack. It. Was. A. Hit!

Colin’s Book is not only loaded with experiment how-to’s, but it’s also hilarious, easy to comprehend, and loaded with fun facts and stories. My niece already has our spring calendar all planned out (Midwest winters aren’t the most conducive to outdoor experiments), starting with the concrete-crusher boots. If you’ve got a crafty, creative, inquisitive youngster in your life, this is definitely a book worth checking out.
