" My 8 year old and I read Magic Tree House books together at bedtime. This one was great!! " said.

" Such a fun read! My 4 year old daughter and 6 year old son didn't want me to stop reading. " said.

" While still a good Magic Tree House book, for some reason this one wasn't my favorite. Maybe because they went quickly through the parts with the historical character. Always a good story, but there have been stronger ones. " said.

" Jack and Annie got to choose their own adventure this time... almost. They asked to go to Cozumel for some snorkeling, but accidentally ended up in Cozumel over a thousand years ago. They met ancient Mayans and were rescued by the king's daughter. " said.

" I wasn't as keen on this book until the end. My son kept wanting to know what the mission was -- somehow 'having fun' didn't seem like much of a mission to him. But the final shark interested him. When I showed him the illustration, he said, "Wait! I've seen that before. On Finding Dory." And he was right. Destiny in Finding Dory is a whale shark. " said.

" Tony and I's third audio book while commuting together this summer.A typical Jack & Annie adventure. This time they travel to an ancient Mayan civilization in Mexico. Peril ensues, but with a little magic, they survive and learn about history while having an excellent adventure. These are always good for a listen (even if I don't think the author makes the best narrator for her own books), and Tony still loves them. " said.

" My youngest son loves The Magic Tree House series, me not so much, but this was interesting about the ancient Mayan Civilization. After reading it my son wanted to look up more information about the Mayans and I realized it was based on a true story. He also wanted to look up sharks. This is the first book in the series that we have read that has really peaked his interest enough to want to find out more information. " said.

" Jack and Annie are on a new series of missions for Merlin and Morgan le Fay, ones that may prove to be their hardest ones yet: having fun. As a thank you for all their hard work the magical friends feel they are due some time to "relax." The siblings first attempt at fun in the sun may prove to be their last. At least they're learning about history along the way! Spoiler alert: Never has a cell phone changed life so much. " said.
