" At first it was fun reading with my 5 year old but I think she started getting bored about half way. It might have been a bit long and repetitive but we stuck it out. " said.

" I'm read this to Clay at bedtimes. They are simple entertaining stories that we enjoy together. I remember reading them when I was his age. " said.

" Kids loved this fun, easy read aloud with short enough chapters to hold even the 3 year old's attention. " said.

" This was 1st published in 1914, but; the read is still enjoyable for all ages and has great life lessons. " said.

" I just found these little stories and I am quite in love. They would be great read alouds for families with young kiddos. " said.

" Read it to my siblings last year {I think} and they loved it! " said.

" I love all Thornton W.Burgess books. He has a warming way of turning children into naturalist through these books. I love 'em all very dearly. Peter cottontail was the first Burgess book I read as a child and I read them to my children. " said.

" A true childhood treasure. Peter Cottontail and the Beatrix Potter stories were a favorite of mine growing up. Because of these, I have always enjoyed stories that feature animals as the main characters and ultimately fell in love with the Redwall Series. " said.
