"My own mother-daughter book club read this book along-side the first Betsy-Tacy book. This is the first MDBC of the series that I have read and it WILL be the last. There's not a likeable character in this book. The girls are all frenemies towards each other. They are boy-crazy which is the cause of much of their meanness and jealousy towards each other. Not a single one shows the ability to be happy and encouraging for each other when good things come their way. Several times, looks and smirks are exchanged over one of the mom's plumpness. I would disband my own group if we turned into that." Trish said.
"When my friend introduced me to this series I was sure it would be boring but I ended up really liking this series I have read it both twice! If you read this series I suggest starting with The Mother Daughter Book Club, Much Ado About Anne, Dear Pen Pal, Pies and Prejudice, Home For The Holidays, and last Wish You Were Eyre! "It is a great book I love this author.
You should read this book and the other books that this author is wrote." Emma B. said.
"There's definitely a wonderfully done happy ending to this book, one of the best series I've ever read, but Home for the Holidays had too many misunderstandings and tension with the girls for it to be as enjoyable as the rest of the previous books have been (also the girls get separated with different vacations and the plot just isn't the same with that separation). Love how these characters continue to grow and be there for one another and I have gotten to love their families along the way." Kara Grant said.
"I loved this book. I really hope that Cassidy does not end up with Zach but with Tristan. Megan and Simon are still perfect for each other, Emma and Stewart are also perfect, Jess and Darcy perfect, and I hope Becca will end up with Zach." Somebody said.
