" This book explained the basics of world war 1 and the weapons and people in it. the book went in quite detail on how the combat side of the war happened. The book told me what happened when.I liked this book because of some of the things stated above, but the book didn't talk about how the war started or ended and the political side of the war. The information was quite basic and a good choice for a beginning learner. " AJ Dalman said.
"This book gave lots of information without being gory or overwhelmingly depressing. A very factual account, prone to convey knowledge with lots of numbers and statistics, but also many photographs and drawings as well. I found it interesting and a good factual supplement to other resources that are presented in a more engaging way (such as a living narrative). This was really a great book for us to utilize after having read stories about WWI which already got us interested. I wouldn't recommend this as a starter book on the subject, but a go-to when interest is already piqued." Jodi said.
