" I think this book would be a wonderful read aloud for a librarian and/or for a classroom teacher at the beginning of the year when they are developing the importance and benefits of reading for children. " said.

" Wow! I wasn't expecting much because I have a slight prejudice against celebrity authors. I thoroughly enjoyed the imaginative plot that books are magic and transport us to our hopes and dreams. Students will be enthralled by the fantastical illustrations and fall in love with the story. " said.

" If you are looking for a book about the magic of reading, this might be the book for you. I liked how the magician seemed to have real magic (it is a book you know), but the theme seems a little cliche to me. I think my problem is that I read too much. " said.

" A great read aloud to reinforce a love of reading, the magic of reading, and why reading is so important. It shows students that they can learn about whatever topoc they are interested in by reading a book that covers that topic. " said.

" Wonderful picture book about how books bring the magic of imagination and self discovery. It promotes libraries, reading and positive self development. This would be a great book to use for next years summer reading book program. " said.

" I bought myself a book at my kids’ book fair, wait, I bought my kids a book. I love the message behind the book. While my kids are too young to understand who Malcolm Mitchell is, they love libraries and have vivid imaginations. His was a fun family read that allowed a subtle lesson to take root, and gave this mama a break from other stories. Love. Love. Love. " said.

" In case you didn't know, there is magic to be found in books. The author, a celebrated football player, discovered this for himself and wants to share this with children. Its a very worthy goal and he is to be applauded and supported for this story and his efforts. We need to continually remind children of the magic, knowledge and inspiration to be found in books and the written word. " said.

" Very cute and sweet. It made tears come to my eyes. It brings the idea that books themselves are magic, and I idea I've long felt in my heart. It reminds me of Inkheart by Cornelia Funke in the way it identifies books has having a power/magic of their own with you combine them with your dreams and effort."The desires that are within you bring out the magic in these books. Follow your dreams and they will take you wherever you want to go." " said.
