"[3.5 stars]

I was really looking forward to reading this when I got my hands on it in the library.

It’s not the most memorable book, but a valiant effort was made. I liked how it’s written in a completely balanced and unbiased manner. While Cook’s positive achievements are definitely mentioned, the sad aftermath is also cited.

I can’t tell if this author likes or dislikes James Cook, and that’s how a nonfiction book should be! Added points for that.

The format is nice. It’s easy to read and there’s lots of pictures that enhance the text.
