" I am never going in the ocean, in a creek, in a forest, by a mountain, or to Chicago, Wisconsin, or Australia ever again. These places are obvious DEATH TRAPS where NATURE WILL KILL YOU and we should all take reasonable action. " said.

" (I received an arc from edelwiess for my honest review.) This book is very informative both about science and history. The stories are interesting and facts are placed intermittently so I'm actually learning something! " said.

" As with all of Tarshis' books, this book is full of obscure facts written in a way that is fascinating for kids to read and learn. She also includes a full bibliography, which gave me great suggestions for further reading on each topic. " said.

" I love it when I read a book and learn something. This book taught me about two major world events that I knew nothing about. Well written, fascinating and in an easily accessible format, this will be a big hit with readers and fans of the I Survived series. Probably best for grades 3-8. Highly recommended. " said.

" The I Survived series is very popular with the 4th grade students at my school. I enjoy these nonfiction companions to the series. They are similar to the Magic Tree House nonfiction companion books. I was a bit disappointed that the jellyfish story did not relate directly to an I Survived fiction book, though. " said.

" Again, I absolutely love this series and this is another must read! How much do you know about Box Jellyfish and how they attack? How much do you know about the shark attacks in 1916? AND did you know there was a much bigger, more destructive fire, the same night as the famous Chicago Fire? You have to read this! " said.

" One day a girl wen't swimming in a lake connected to the ocean . But that day it will change her life forever for she didn't know she wasn't alone in the lake she felt a burning sensation in her foot then she realized she was getting stung by a box jellyfish! Will she survive to pass her story on or die.Find out when you read the book .I suggest this book to anyone who loves or likes action .Book review by Julian " said.

" My boys (7&5) LOVED this book. They wouldn't let me put it down. I really enjoyed the stories in it as well. " said.
