" good - i would read againsimple yet good representation of Mary as a mother " said.

" My five-year-old was saying the repeating line with me by the end of the book.Read with Naomi and Julia. " said.

" My children and I both love this sweet story that shares a mother's love while celebrating our Savior's birth. The beautiful illustrations beautifully capture the spirit of the book. " said.

" This was a gift and I just love the illustrations. I'll probably have to try to read it again next year to my toddler because he didn't want to listen (there's a lot of text) but he loved the pictures. He loved to see the 'mommy, baby, animals, daddy!"This is a very sweet Christmas book with beautiful paintings. " said.

"In various religions the birth of Christ is celebrated in church and the story of the birth is told. This is a very friendly book that can be shown to children to teach them about what the birth entails. The author also gives a new look into the story. Instead of repeating the usual story the author makes the story from the point of view of the mother. A sweet little story that will warm your day is what this book is, just perfect for the holiday and just a nice bedtime story. I like this story because it was very colorful and presented a look into the life of a mother being thankful for a child. You get to see deeper into the family and how the mother really feels about her baby and having the first chance to see a child that would bring a big change around the world. " said.

"When I became a mother myself Mary's role in Jesus life became so much more real and special to me! How would it have felt to hold the King of King in your arms? This book dives into those kinds of thoughts with beautiful phrases like, "I swaddle you in cloth, safely nestle you in hay. The sheep and cows are calm as I bow my head and pray. The precious donkey that brought us safely here Nuzzles you so softly, sensing God is near." Deep enough in thought that it touches my heart with each reading the sweet rhythms also keep Amber & Tyler's attention. I love that it easily also draws out discussion of how the babe in the manger is the King of Kings!" said.

"We got this for our granddaughter, who was 3 or 4 at the time, and she loves it. We read it to her as a bedtime story during the Christmas season, whenever she spends the night with us. She's 6 now and it's still one of her favorite books." said.
