" Great ending to the series. I loved this trilogy, not as good as the chronicles by Weis and Hickman. But close. " said.

"This is the third book of a trilogy and part of the Dragonlance universe. The other books in this series must be read first. This series is geared for young readers. Vael's chance at survival is gone but our heroes are determined to retrieve it and save her.

This series contains characters from the first young readers series as well as new ones. This was a decent trilogy but it did have minor plot holes. The strength of the young readers books have been the characters and that holds true for this book. Sindri has quickly become a favorite and I do like the interaction between our characters as they are more like a family than companions. I liked the premise for this one as it was a sting to steal back an item. It didn't go as planned and this added realism to the book. Like I said it does have some plot holes but the ending was a joy to read and did put a smile on my face.

I am on a journey to read everything from this universe. These young readers books are not the best this universe have to offer. They are not the worst either. They are likable and are a good place to introduce new readers into this universe.
