" its aswome because i like baseball " said.

" This book was an amazing book! So inspiring! Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. are two of the best baseball players of all time. To read about their life struggles and achievements as a baseball player really inspired me to play like the Griffey's as a baseball player myself. The things that he had to go through to be who he is now just motivating. " said.

"At the Plate with Ken Griffey Jr. by Matt Christopher is a biography about Ken Griffey Jr. Ever since Ken Griffey Jr. was a kid he wanted to be just like his dad a 3X MLB Champion and hit homers just like his dad. When he was little he always loved baseball but his dad could never be there for him because of his games with the Cincinnati Reds or the New York Yankees. But as Junior grows up he sees he can be just as good as his dad, possibly even better.

In my opinion this book was ok, It gave me more information about his childhood more than his actual MLB career. It told me about his years with the amazing Seattle Mariners bur never anything with the Cincinnati Reds.

I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoy's Matt Christopher or just would like to learn more about the amazing Ken Griffey Jr.

"I remember reading this book as a child in the 90s and I loved it then, so for the heck of it I bought it again as an adult and still enjoy reading the great story of the life of the greatest baseball player to ever live. Griffey is the best and Matt Christopher writes this book well and very simple. I recommend this book for your children or if you would like to learn more about the life of the greatest Mariner of all time." said.
