"This graphic novel is about the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The main character is a young boy named Josh. In this story, Josh shows bravery in trying to help put out the fire alongside the fireman. Josh is recognized for is efforts in the end. The illustrations in this book, are not very engaging, and the story itself, does not really present a clear understanding of the Chicago Fire. Additionally, on page 6, Josh's last name is spelled "Watterson" and by the end of the book, his name is spelled "Waterson". This error concerns me, because a valid explanation is necessary, before I would consider providing this book in my classroom for students to access. I really liked the beginning of the context presented to readers (The Setting the Stage section), as well as the discover more section at the end of the story. However, the story it's self was not very interesting. " said.
