"With each story getting 30-40 pages, this really felt like an extra 4 episodes of the show. Series creator Alex Hirsch wrote the whole thing and the majority was drawn by people who worked on the show. 2 stories easily could have been episodes, one was a classic Gravity Falls story done in the way only a comic could, and one focused on characters that would never have gotten an episode to themselves. Throughout it all, the book kept all the heart, humor, and creativity of the show. Highly recommend to fans." said.

"This was a fun way to revisit the series.

My son has been waiting for this since we preordered it at Christmas, and I think it was worth the wait.

There’s some pretty funny stuff going on here - I laughed several times. Of course, my son was so excited for me to read this (he had already read it twice, even though he had only gotten it a couple days earlier) that he was hanging on my every emotion. But I liked seeing him so excited about something.

And some of it is so meta.

If you’re a fan of the series, I would definitely recommend this.

And what does it bode for the future? I don’t know, but I’m really curious to see…

"I've loved Gravity Falls since it came out, and as expected, I loved this graphic novel.

This has four more stories, and they tackle the different sides of the show - the monsters, the silly parts, etc. This was perfectly in the vein of the show, and I can't imagine being disappointed by it. The characters are as lovable as ever and the tone is on point.

I don't think it'd be as enjoyable for those not familiar with the series, but still engaging. This review is pretty subjective since I'm already a fan of the series, but it's a worthy follow-up to a finished show.

"I was super excited to jump back into the world of Gravity Falls. We get to see some more antics with both sets of Pines twins and, of course, got some hidden fun in there as well. All four stories are introduced by Shmebulock during his short time being able to hold an actual conversation instead of just saying his name like an idiot, and I absolutely loved his comments on how Gravity Falls ended as summer closed out and talked about wanting a new "season." Not cool, Alex, not cool. But what I really loved was that how I read everything in each characters' voices, and I think that really says a lot about the show itself. Anyway, it was such a fun, quick read and is just classic Gravity Falls and I loved diving back into the world." said.

"As a huge fan of Gravity Falls I LOOOOOVEEEEDDDD THISSSS!!! (If you haven't watched Gravity Falls though, this isn't a good place to start.)

There's only four stories in this novel, and they are told by Shmebulock the gnome, who is able to speak once every 1000 years. He wants another season of Gravity Falls as much as we do, so he resorts to telling us more stories he's learned about both sets of Pines twins. The art style is consistent with the show.

If you only wanted to read one story in this volume, definitely read the second one. It liberally breaks the fourth wall and has tons of meta humor and comic references! It's also drawn in a variety of styles from different artists.

Highly recommended if you're a fan of the show! I hope they publish tons more!!

p.s. I LOVED that Majora's Mask reference in the first story!!!

"Gravity Falls was a series that ended long before its time and so I was really pleased to hear about this graphic novel. The book collects four short tales, linked by the narrative of a familiar character, all of which were written by Alex Hirsch. Because of this, the stories all have the feel of episodes of the series, causing all of my nostalgia to come pouring back.

The stories provide brand new adventures for your favourite characters, but I would recommend watching the series first. While these do mainly stand alone, there are some references to the main series that won't make any sense to you if you have not. Each of the stories is light and full of humour, and so this collection could certainly be enjoyed by a young fan.

The only bad thing about this collection is that it made me really pine for a new season...

" Habían ganas de revisitar Gravity Falls y este recopilatorio de 4 historias no falla. Un tomo lleno de misterios y homenajes tanto a la serie como a la cultura pop. A destacar las historias de los comics y del Mabelverso. " said.

" hands down, the best book i've ever read thank you for my life " said.
