"We all learned Anne Frank's story in school: a family forced to hide for years to protect themselves from Nazis. "All About Anne," though, goes further. With family photographs and background information about the time period, it does a thorough job of providing the reader a full picture of the area during the 1940's. I was surprised at the amount of new information that I learned while reading the book. This would be perfect for classroom use, with Grades 4-6 being the target age group. Despite the heavy subject, the Anne Frank House did a wonderful job of making the information accessible to children. The vocabulary is appropriate, not overwhelming. Great addition to children's literature for that time period." said.

" 5 goodread stars! I had read The Diary of a Young Girl, but with this, I had gained more knowledge of the WWII and how people like Anne and her family and friends suffered in the hand of the Nazis. One day, when I visit Amsterdam, I will surely check out the Secret Annex. " said.

" A new look into the life of Anne, both before the war and during her family's hiding in the Secret Annex. Some powerful words from her father and ones to always remember, particularly now. " said.

" A fantastic read. And a must read. Some much of Anne Frank's life and circumstances are explained in this book. It's perfect for kids who have tons of questions and want to know more. " said.

" Excellent overview for children. " said.

" This picture book size non fiction retelling of the Anne Frank story is filled with pictures from the Anne Frank House museum in Amsterdam. Photographs, maps and drawings show readers who Anne was, and her life during World War II and the Holocaust. A wonderful addition to the history of Anne for young readers. " said.

" I loved this book. Such a great book to add so much more to the story of Anne. It is full of photos and details of her life before that we were unaware of. The author shares stories of her family and of her friendships in school along with so many more aspects of her life. This is a great middle school book and I would highly recommend it. Thanks to Net Gallery for providing me a copy of this book to read. This is my honest opinion. " said.

" I loved this book. Not only do we get an in depth look at Anne Frank, we also get more information on her family and the helpers who hid the Franks for so long. There is a lot of detail information about the other events that were happening during WWII. It was created based on questions that kids have sent to the Anne Frank Foundation over the years. I was especially interested in finding out how and when Anne died. That has always been a mystery to me and I now know some of the answers. " said.
